HOW SOON AFTER MY BOTOX® TREATMENT WILL I SEE RESULTS?The effects of Botox® begin to appear in five to seven days, but it can take up to 2 weeks to see the full results. If you have static lines & wrinkles, they will begin to lessen over time and with repeated treatments.
-
HOW LONG DO RESULTS FROM BOTOX® LAST?Botox® duration depends on the dose. Generally, Botox® results begin to decline around 3-4 months post-treatment.
-
HOW MANY UNITS OF BOTOX® DO I NEED?Botox® dosing varies significantly based on the area of concern, muscle strength and the patient's unique anatomy. One of our highly trained providers will consult with you to create a treatment plan that is right for you.
-
WHAT WRINKLE RELEASERS (NEUROMODULATORS) DO YOU OFFER BESIDES BOTOX®?Other neuromodulators we use at BAM Wellness include Dysport®, Jueveau®, and Xeomin®.
-
HOW MUCH DOES BOTOX® COST?Botox® is priced by the unit, and the amount of units used are dependent on the area that's treated, muscles strength, and the patient's unique anatomy. At your initial consultation, one of our expertly trained providers will work with you create a personalized treatment plan that is guaranteed to provide you with optimal results within your budget.
-
CAN I BE TREATED WITH BOTOX® WHEN I'M PREGNANT OR NURSING?Botox® has not been studied during pregnancy or nursing. At BAM Wellness, we center our patients’ care around safety, and therefore recommend waiting until after delivery and until nursing is completed, to begin or resume Botox® treatments.
-
WHAT IS PREVENTATIVE BOTOX®? WHEN SHOULD I GET MY FIRST BOTOX® TREATMENT?Facial lines and wrinkles are much easier to prevent than correct. To prevent the earliest fine lines from becoming deep-seated, hard-to-correct wrinkles, preventative Botox® is highly important. We recommend beginning Botox® treatments when lines and/or wrinkles are present when the face is at rest.
-
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY TREATMENT? DO BOTOX® INJECTIONS HURT?During your initial Botox® appointment, one of highly trained providers will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan based on your concerns, aesthetic goals, and unique anatomy. If Botox® injections are the right options for you, treatment can be performed at the same appointment. Botox® is administered into targeted muscle using a very small injection needle – it is generally painless, and you will likely only feel a little pinch. We aim to make you as comfortable as possible during your treatment, so if you're worried about pain, additional comfort measures can be discussed at your consultation.
